Though he didn’t know it at the time, Chris’ passion for the legal profession was sparked during a winning run to the Michigan high school debate state championship. From there, he continued to chase the exhilaration of building an argument and successfully defending it, all the way through law school, and now as a practicing attorney since 2006.
As a passionate advocate for his clients, Chris’ attention to detail and professionalism is matched with the individual attention he gives to each client. Chris understands the importance of establishing clear goals for every representation and develops tailored strategies to ensure the desired outcome is achieved. He is quick to respond to concerns, and stives to create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration by keeping clients appraised and educated throughout the entire process. He will review all potential options and outcomes, and brings a commonsense approach to even the most complex issues.
Chris favorite part of being an attorney is helping clients navigate what can be among the most confusing and stress experience of their lives. And he looks to protect his clients every step of the way. Always diligent and forward thinking, Chris is prepared to overcome any obstacle that may arise during the course of his representation. He knows when to be aggressive and uncompromising, but always in the service of his client’s objectives. Chris knows how to negotiate efficient settlements, always pressing forward creatively to break through stalemates. He has also researched and drafted countless motions, and stands ready to go into court and win when litigation is necessary.
Outside of the office, Chris is a devoted husband and adoring father of five children. Despite settling in Illinois over 20 years ago, he remains a loyal fan of all Detroit sports, and loves taking the kids to a game whenever they come through Chicago. Chris is an avid fishman and skier, and treasures his families’ annual trip to visit his mother’s home, nestled in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming.
